This project is courtesy of a three time returning client of Fordham Marble. Our client was renovating her town house in New Canaan which required multiple selections of natural stone, including marble and onyx as well as a mosaic black splash for the laundry room – which you can read about in our Tile It Up Now blog.
Here is a view of a couple of the vignettes that you will find in our 10,000 SQ foot Stamford showroom. Founded in 1905 by Salvatore Sardo, Fordham Marble has stood the test of time. For more than 110 years, and under the guidance of the same family, Fordham Marble has built a rock solid reputation for superior workmanship and innovation one project at a time.
Here is the Slab of the Week! When choosing a natural stone, such as granite, marble, onyx, quartzite, limestone or travertine, be sure to view a full-size slab of what you are going to use - not just a sample. Each piece of natural stone is unique, a true work of nature’s art.
Bring a touch of luxury to your business. Creating a feature wall is a way to add drama and a modern design to any waiting area. This is a quarter matched marble feature wall.
From the stunning columns of the Parthenon to the magnificent flooring of the Basilica of Saint Paul, Marble has been used in architectural masterpieces throughout history. Because of its strength, beauty, and durability, it is a great choice for designing and decorating your home. Marble is an exquisite metamorphic rock that can be found in a variety of colors and types and is categorized by a distinct marble classification system founded in 1963.
Check out this breathtaking Creme Bordeaux Quarry. The first step of finding the perfect slab is finding an optimal deposit of material with desirable color, patterns and composition.
